Street Focus: Torquay is a collective vision for a safer town centre where our communities can thrive. Led by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, we work with a number of partners including local authorities on a range of projects.
Hotspot Policing
Castle Circus and Waterfront and Torre were identified as hotspot locations using recent crime data. Increased police patrols have already been deployed in these areas with uniformed community patrols to commence in the coming weeks.
The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner community engagement vehicle makes weekly appearances outside the town hall. It is a hub for members of the public to give their thoughts on the issues in the town and receive advice.
