St Austell

Street marshals are already a valuable resource in St Austell. The funding from hotspot policing allows an extension of their existing service to ensure greater visibility in the town centre.

The street marshals will be working alongside the police to share intelligence and actively engage with the community. They will also be deterring and disrupting antisocial behaviour while on foot patrol.

Thanks to St Austell Town Council, St Austell BID, Safer Cornwall and Cornwall Council for their help in setting up these patrols.

“We are looking forward to working with our partners in the community more closely in the coming year to provide high-visibility patrols in the St Austell area. This will allow us to build a closer connection with the community, addressing the issues that directly impact them and creating a positive impact for everyone.”
